Right now, I am the happiest I've ever been in my life.
I am not fabulously wealthy. I make two grand a month and pay half of that to rent.
I don't have a glamorous job. I am a graduate student at the bottom of the lab totem pole.
I don't own a car, and I try to catch free shuttles because I can't afford to take the train too often.
I am not a fashionista. Many of the clothes I wear have been in my closet since y2k (or at least undergrad).
I don't have a supportive family. They told me I would never get where I am at.
However, I have my faith, and I have an ever faithful friend in Jesus Christ. The Lord led me to a strange city. He placed me in a joint program between the world's top universities in engineering and medicine. I didn't even apply, but that didn't stop the Lord from leading me here, from getting me accepted.
As I prepared for the journey after college, I prayed each night, "You lead. I'll follow." So, here is where God lead me, and this blog is my travel journal.
